Simply No

Fashion moves in cycles, or so we're told. I think this is just a lame excuse for people in fashion who can't be bothered to come up with any new ideas for the next season.

Case in point #1 Imagine this conversation:
"Does anybody have any ideas about fashion for next year?"
"No, Sir, we are **** out of good ideas, sorry"
"Oh no worries, let's pull something 'off the rack' from 1959 or 1983 and tell them it's back in fashion."

Case in point # 2 Recall previous conversations
Think about your friends who work in fashion. Ever asked them to articulate what it is they do? Were you confused? Were they? Me too. Sometimes "nothing" can be difficult to explain.

Because I openly admit I'm no clothes horse, I feel I have the qualifications to share with you, what I believe to be, the two biggest fashion crimes of the 21 century. These crimes in fashion are of course, second only to anything Chaz Bono may wear.

1. The sunglasses on the neck situation.
This is never OK. It's not practical. It's not cool. It's not a creative use of space.
Simply No.

2. The ugg boot in the snow scenario.

Ugg boots are for poor people.
This is the height of stupidity. Not made for the outdoors. Not waterproof. Not cute.
Simply No.

So to you sunglasses on the back of the neck guy and you homeless looking lady with the wet, stinky ugg boots on, to you, we say No.

Simply No.
